OUR MISSION
At Chandler Studios, we have one goal: Make and Do Good. We create high-end collectibles that fund scholarships, support charitable initiatives, and reinvest in our local community. By partnering exclusively with small businesses and mentoring the next generation of artists, we use our craft to spread joy, uplift others, and turn creativity into meaningful impact.

OUR TEAM
Meet our team! Our expert group brings decades of experience at the world’s biggest studios to create high-quality content. Learn more about each of us below:

Co-Founder & President
Bill Derrington
Bill Derrington is a multidisciplinary artist and proven entrepreneur with experience spanning entertainment, luxury design, and manufacturing operations.

Prior to contributing to major studios including DreamWorks and Disney, Bill founded and operated multiple successful creative ventures, including a high-end furniture showroom, an interior design firm, and a mural company. These businesses required not only creative vision, but operational discipline, vendor management, customer acquisition, and brand development. That foundation now directly informs his leadership and execution strategy at Chandler Studios.

As Co-Founder, Bill oversees the integration of storytelling, sculptural design, and production execution. His background bridges fine art sensibility with manufacturing expertise, enabling the company to maintain quality control, protect intellectual property, and develop scalable collectible product lines.
Bill’s leadership reflects a disciplined balance of creative vision and operational capability, positioning Chandler Studios for growth within the premium collectible, character intellectual property, and licensed product markets.

Co-Founder & Creative Director
Jeff Nichols
Jeff Nichols is the Co Founder and Creative Director of Chandler Studios, where he helps lead creative vision, storytelling, and design with a belief that creativity should do more than look good—it should do good. A Lead Look Development Artist at DreamWorks, Jeff has helped shape the visual worlds of films like Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World and The Wild Robot. Born and raised in Willis, Texas, Jeff brings small-town roots, big-studio experience, and a highly caffeinated enthusiasm for building meaningful work that funds scholarships, supports community initiatives, and uplifts local creators.
Beyond the studio, Jeff is deeply committed to mentorship and education. For over eight years, he has taught Look Development at Texas A&M University’s Visualization Program, mentoring hundreds of students who have gone on to careers at Pixar, DreamWorks, Disney, Laika, Marvel, and beyond. That passion for teaching and community-building is woven directly into Chandler Studios’ mission.
When he’s not working or teaching he can be found outside procrastinating, painting, reading or contemplating yet another venture that will require yet another coffee.

3D Printing Foreperson
Amy Richards
Amy Richards is a creative Swiss Army knife working across illustration, 3D art, photography, and digital media, with a special focus on animal-centered storytelling (especially dogs). Fusing traditional and digital techniques, she creates expressive pet illustrations, character sculpts, and photography that seem both thoughtful and tactile.
With a background in creature grooming at Blue Sky Studios, Amy helped bring animated characters to life through believable fur and texture on feature films, and she continues to build on that foundation through personal and client work. Recently, she’s expanded her practice into physical fabrication, turning digital sculptures into physical pieces through 3D printing in materials like resin, wood, and bronze — always curious, always experimenting, and always finding new ways to bring ideas off the screen and into the world.
When she’s not creating, you’ll likely find her in conversation with a friend at a local coffee shop, cackling at a comedy podcast, keen to dissect a film or series that’s made an impression, spending time training her dog, or catching a classical music performance.
